So Listen as Xan and Deke start off The Month of Dope with an exploratory film into The Counterculture and the Myth of the American Dream as they review the 1969 movie Easy Rider, Directed and Starring Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda. It also has Jack Nicolson and a guest appearance by Phil Spectre.
As they examine the brilliance and melancholy nature of this film, Xan and Deke also discuss Hunter S. Thompson, why buying a movie we recommend is awesome, and how to avoid a bad acid trip.
